Growing up in East St. Louis, Mike had two choices - accept the adversity he faced, or remove himself from it and try to make it on his own. Mike chose the latter, and it didn't come easy. Mike was calculated in the decisions he made and conscious of the people surrounded himself with. Was it luck; Was it timing; Was it serendipity; Or was it grit? Say what you want, but Mike persevered to get to where he is today - a Senior Software Engineer, living in Atlanta. Through his perseverance, Mike made it out of East St. Louis, but he never forgot his roots - he never where forgot he came from. And, for that, he'll forever be grateful. Check out Mike’s podcast!
