What is Truth?
Every one that is of the truth, heareth my voice.
Pre Christians philosophers were content with the pursuit of truth. The Christians desired to have the Truth. They became “of the truth”
Pilate supposed Christ to be a philosopher or a prophet and thus ask him what is truth
Augustine Answers Truth is God himself who is the primal source of life, and the primal essence, as He is the highest wisdom. For He is that unchangeable truth which is rightly termed
‘the law of all arts, and the art of the almighty artificer’ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
