Manage episode 339928443 series 3370285
In today's episode, Kenny and Del discuss and review 1996's Navy comedy, “Down Periscope," starring Kelsey Grammer, to showcase the lighter side of the United States Armed Forces.
Serving in America’s armed forces is a job like many others, but like any other job, we have our fair share of hi-jinx. To celebrate Labor Day, we decided to do a review and discussion of 1996’s Navy comedy classic, “Down Periscope,” to showcase the lighter side of the U.S. military. After all, there are plenty of good times, fun stories, and laughter to be had among our soldiers and sailors during their daily routine.
On today’s show, we will honor Labor Day with a review and discussion of a movie that showcases the funnier side of the U.S. Military, specifically the U.S. Navy. Along the way, we will share some stories and some laughs about our time in the armed forces.
At the end of our review, we will give it our style of rating with a Play, Pass, or Pause, to let you know whether or not you should watch it and why. If you want to see our traditional star ratings, check out our Letterboxd account.
This was a fun show to record, and we hope you all enjoy it. Thanks for listening and have a great Labor Day holiday!
