Hour 1 The Yankees beat the Guardians again and this is looking like a sweep situation. Gio said the cocky Yankee fans are coming back out. The Yankees had no problem even with Gerrit Cole not pitching great, and Jazz Chisholm not having any idea how to play third base or run the bases. Gio said this series feels like Mike Tyson vs Peter McNeeley. We also talked about Jeff McNeil being on the Mets roster and Brandon Nimmo not being 100%. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of Juan Soto being intentionally walked to load the bases for Aaron Judge. Judge did not hit a grand slam, just a sac fly. Verdugo called it a total team effort. Gerrit Cole assessed his performance as ‘alright’. Gio thinks they should start painting the World Series logos on the field at Yankee Stadium. Davante Adams popped into the Aaron Rodgers interview with Pat McAfee after being traded to the Jets. Rodgers was asked about his criticism of Mike Williams on the interception he threw. Mike Tomlin talked about the quarterback situation for this Sunday against the Jets. Jerry has the audio of Jerry Jones on sports radio in Dallas and they got into it. He made it seem like he could fire them. In the final segment of the hour, Bussin’ With The Boys had Donald Trump on and the Washington Post wanted them to respond to a comment Trump made. Will Compton commented with a bodily noise (he farted). Hour 2 The Jets traded for Davante Adams yesterday and now Mike Williams is on the trading block. How much will Adams help the team? He and Rodgers definitely have chemistry together. Getting Adams shows Rodgers has a lot of control no matter what he says. He wants Saleh gone, he’s gone. He wants Davante Adams, he’s here. Hopefully Garret Wilson will embrace this. The Bills went out and got their own new WR in Amari Cooper. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Aaron Judge hitting a HR to center. The Yankees had a couple of base running errors which prompted John Sterling to say of the Yankees, they ‘run the bases like drunks’. Judge thought the ghosts of Monument Park pulled his HR out there. Jerry has audio of BT, who ‘hates’ the Jets. He also called them, ‘ass backwards’. Jerry has audio from Woody Johnson saying ‘thinking is overrated’. Jerry Jones battled with sports radio in Dallas and we heard all the clips. The Cowboys are giving up 41 points a game. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about who’s throwing out the first pitch for the remaining Mets/Dodgers games at Citi Field. We talked about Wade Boggs being a longtime Red Sox, goes to the Yankees and rides a police horse drinking a beer celebrating a World Series win. Hour 3 Phil Simms joins us in his weekly spot and we started with Aaron Rodgers throwing Mike Williams under the bus after their latest loss. Phil said Davante Adams will make a difference for sure. We talked about Russel Wilson and Justin Fields for this Sunday against the Jets. Andrew Thomas is out indefinitely for the Giants and Phil talked about how that will impact them. He said the Giants need to throw the ball down the field. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of John Sterling as the Yankees beat the Guardians. Clay Holmes pitched well after coming in for Gerrit Cole. Joe Benigno reacted to another Jets loss with a classic Joe B rant. Woody Johnson was asked about the trade for Davante Adams. Aaron Rodgers reacted to the team getting Adams. Rodgers also reacted to people thinking he threw Mike Williams under the bus. Jerry Jones battled with Dallas Sports Radio and Jerry has the audio. Roger Goodell was asked about Tom Brady having an ownership stake in the Raiders. In the final segment of the hour, the Giants are in a tough spot with the injury to Andrew Thomas.
