As Christians, one thing promised to us is, if we abide in Christ and He abides in us, we can ask whatever we wish and we will have it. The key component in this is the abiding - if we are truly abiding in Christ and He in us, our desires will match His desires, and of course He will give us what we ask because our ask is aligned with His desires.
