Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. With 20 plus something years in the game, Mike has handled many roles in the industry. From running an artist management agency in the early 2000’s, promoting events, DJ’ing and producing, Mike has done a lot and seen a lot. Mike’s DJ sets are unique with a blend of deep, hypnotic, spaced out and driving style of techno.
In 2017, he launched his label, Northern Parallels. Focusing on deep, trippy, spaced out, hypnotic techno. The label features well respected veteran producers DJ Hyperactive, Dustin Zahn, Myles Serge, Hiroko Yamamura, Ray Kajioka and up and coming producers Jason Patrick, Allana Letm, Lindsey Herbert Joshua Calleja with also providing a home for new faces that are making exceptional music.
