There have been breakbeat tracks in my DJ sets since the early days, mostly from those two rulers of the scene Plump DJs and Stanton Warriors whom I discovered via their early 00's mix cds Elastic Breaks (Plump DJs) and The Stanton Session (Stanton Warriors), plus of course from the remixes they have done of some of my favourite dance acts (Orbital, Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx). I wanted to make a mix as an homage to The Stanton Sessions (all four of which have rarely been off my iPod) using the tracks I have used in the past and some others I've since discovered.
