Resurrection is an event of the past. It also points to our eternal future. But what implication does it have for the present? What difference does the resurrection make for the now? The Resurrection: Like Christmas, our society has added cultural symbols to Easter. Lilies, bunnies, and chocolate. Of course, what is central to Easter is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is more than a celebration of what was, but a promise of hope for what will be.
