Are West Ham a club in crisis? The noise from within the club suggests it is, but with Julen Lopetegui's side closer to Europe than the drop, we wonder whether this is simply a storm in a teacup? Yes, the results haven't been great, and yes their league position is not what they want it to be given the money that they have spent, but, there is another argument.

On Monday night, The Hammers travel to Bournemouth - a side that also had similar "issues" with their new manager in the first few months of the season. Andoni Iraola started his career at Dean Court in underwhelming fashion, and some were even calling for his head - however patience was key, and with the Basque boss now absolutely smashing the league, there is an argument to say that Lopetegui simply needs time - so is this the season in which West Ham can afford to do it?
