The story rewinds to 1998 as I abandon a questionable living situation in Seattle and ride my motorcycle south to embark on new adventures. I move into a boarding house in the suburb of Gresham with an unemployed trucker across the hall who befriends me. Misfortunes soon abound, yet despite losing multiple vehicles, Portland isn't the worst place to be stranded.
