April is the start of Autism awareness and acceptance month. For families of children living with autism awareness and acceptance must be year-round not only in the month of April. Autism is misunderstood in many countries around the world as there is not much awareness and education about autism. It is associated with stigma and societal pressures in many countries around the world. In this episode, I share the significance of autism awareness and acceptance and how it starts with us the parents completely accepting our child's diagnosis so we can educate people around us and the community as a whole to create a world that is inclusive of our children.
