Stephen King's memoir on the craft of writing. The book is divided into two main sections: The part that gives us history on King and how he came to writing and the instructional part on how to be a better writer. If you are a Stephen King fan but are not a writer and have no intention on being one, you can still enjoy this book. If you don't enjoy the work of Stephen King but you are an aspiring writer, you need this book more than you may know. If you are like me and enjoy reading King's work and also aspire to be a better writer, you're in for a real treat.

Stephen King doesn't pull punches and is very direct. At times, his advice isn't an opinion, it's fact. I enjoy how he writes about himself and the love he shows for his family. I got to see a side of Stephen King that I never knew and I'm grateful for that. I feel as though I know him better and I know how to write better too - what else could I want from this book? know I will return to this piece often for reminders on how I can improve my own work. It was an easy and interesting read. Top Shelf. I *No Spoilers*. (REVIEW - WEEK 17, YEAR 4)
