Facing the challenge of upgrading the E-6B fleet, the Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office knew they needed to get this vital aircraft back in service as quickly as possible. When initial modification times soared, the team embraced the red and found creative ways to improve processes and significantly reduce turnaround times.
