I also focus on the 1987 Karate Kid spinoff film "Crossroads" where Daniel travels to Mississippi to crane kick Steve Vai in the all-valley blues championship of Hell and damnation. While technically not canon in the Cobra Kai extended universe, "Crossroads", much like "Shadows of the Empire" links Karate Kid and Karate Kid part 2 behind the scenes of the main narrative.
