When Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, it had already been done in a Royal Procession/Coronation Ceremony in Jerusalem. The last week of Jesus' life fulfills an ancient Israelite Temple Drama about Jesus Christ. Jesus is simply carrying out the Temple Drama.
We do the same thing in the temple endowment ceremony. We are going through a Royal Procession that lines up with Jesus last week in mortality.
