One of the biggest true crime mysteries is: who was Jack the Ripper? Multiple suspects have been named over the centuries, but no one has ever been officially identified. Now, the grandson of Inspector Joseph Henry Helson, who was the lead investigator in the murders, has released a trove of documents regarding the notorious serial killer to the public for the first time. These documents shed new light on the nearly 150-year-old case. The archive also contains a copy of the “Dear Boss” letter, marking the first time the name “Jack the Ripper” was used by the killer.

Additionally, many people, including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle—the author of Sherlock Holmes—also investigated the attacks. Doyle and his mentor, Dr. Joseph Bell, believed they had identified the killer. However, over the years, many other names have been brought to light, including the infamous H.H. Holmes, Chicago's first serial killer.

Join Ben Chasteen and Rob Counts from Edge of Wonder on this Rise.TV live show as they delve deeper into the mystery and present some facts that have been overlooked. Also, on tonight’s show, discover where they now believe the Stonehenge rocks originated. Don’t miss the weekly Mandela Effect segment ("Bendela Effect"), followed by the Metaphysical Minute. During the “Dig Deep” Live Q&A segment, you can ask Ben and Rob your questions directly. In the fan-favorite “Top 10 Weirder News of the Week,” hear hilarious and intriguing stories such as chilling graffiti in an ancient Roman prison, Norman the psychopathic AI, and whether the Lake Champlain Monster was filmed. As always, we’ll see you out…On the edge!
