Today's episode was manifested by a conversation, or you could say "disagreement" that my guest and I had over a Facebook thread she had posted. Even though it was "clear" we did not agree, we both soon understood that we did actually agreed, but we were coming from a different vantage point that lead to the same understanding.
The conversation was so stimulating that it reminded me that there are so many of us out there having disagreements left and right only because we fail to realize that our reactions hardly have much to do with what was said, nor how it was said, but more so on how WE interpreted what was said depending on where we found ourselves emotionally or mentally at that very moment.
So I invited Jenna to come discuss this topic with me because we both felt that the world would be so much better if more of us could have honest, open, and vulnerable conversations without it having to be a good or bad outcome, but simply a conversation with adult perspectives.
