It is only the born again believer who can put on the helmet of Salvation. This Helmet of Salvation, which is part of the Full Armor of God, closes your mind to what the devil says and opens up your mind to what God is saying. If we put on the Helmet of Salvation, we have the mind of Jesus Christ and are exalted by God. Once we have the mind of Christ, we recognize that, in the body of Christ we play different roles and therefore we are not equal but one. With this mindset, we are able to humble ourselves in order to serve in obedience.
