In this episode, Olivia Rains and I nerd out about the anatomy of the ear. Olivia is a communication access specialist representing the state of Texas at the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. We discuss the different kinds of hearing loss, treatments available, and the various ways that hearing loss can affect your body, like alter your balance. We also chatted about her art and how she has been able to paint her way through challenges faced in her own journey as someone who has experienced hearing loss.
