When you feel confident you tend to make decisions that are good for you and your health. You are more likely to care for yourself, get out and about, be active, and choose healthier foods. Low self-esteem isn't a mental health problem in itself, but they are closely linked. When many things start affecting your self-esteem for a long time, this might lead o mental health problems. Confidence is a strength because it means you accept and trust yourself and have a sense of control in your life. You know your strengths and weakness well and have a positive view of yourself. You set realistic expectations and goals, communicate assertively, and can handle criticism. My guest in this episode is a renowned speaker and motivational coach, Florencia Andres. She is an international speaker who lectures in Spanish and English in various parts of the world and is a coach to some of the best athletes in the world. She is described as ‘the female tony Robbins.’ Together we explore what it means to be confident and how to help you pack and prepare your ‘Mental Backpack’ with tools for your journey ahead.
