On this week's episode I celebrate the Memorial Day weekend by paying homage to those who sacrificed their lives for defending our freedoms and providing the opportunity to celebrate the long weekend. I also give a shout out to the gold star families that live with the sacrifice of their soldier everyday of their lives.
I explain the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day and provide a litlle bit of history as to when and how the two days became holidays. I also provide insight as to the meaning of these important holidays and why people should know the differences.
I close the show with providing listeners the number to the Veteran's crisis hot line.
Every day there are Veteran's suffering from mental illness and do not know how to get the help they need. The Veteran's Crisis Call Center is available 24/7 to provide Veteran's with the help they need to get through their mental crisis.
