In this episode of We've Got Issues Emily & Jess sit down with activist Cecile Richards, former president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund from 2006-2013. They talk about the Texas abortion ban which the Supreme Court has declined to halt and whether this sets the stage to overturn Roe v. Wade. They discuss if this will lead to more bans across the country, how this might impact other reproductive freedoms for women and what we can do moving forward. Emily & Jess also hear from Cecile about American Bridge 21st Century Pac, one of the nation’s largest SuperPAC’s where she serves as a co-chair. Cecile talks about how they plan to spend nearly $100 million in the midterms for Democrats, and how listening to women is driving their agenda.
