Then, on the rest of the menu, a state police inquiry found evidence the MAGAt plot in Michigan to breach voting machines points to a coordinated national pattern; some of the arrested Capitol insurgents are trying to profit from their January 6 crimes; and, Krysten Sinema took over a million dollars of Wall Street money over the past year, and then killed the carried interest tax on private equity profits.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Italian right-wing nationalist parties threaten European democracy; and, Zofia Posmysz, whose semi-autobiographical Holocaust story “The Passenger,” which reached the opera stage, has died at age ninety-eight.
