“You can't talk about living boldly with HIV on stage, and then not say it in the barber’s chair”

Nathaniel Hall is an actor, writer, performer and HIV positive activist. He starred in Russell T Davies’ amazing Channel 4 series, “It’s A Sin”.

Nathaniel’s own award-winning solo show, “The First Time”, tells the story of how he contracted HIV, after his first time. He was only 16.

In this episode, Nathaniel talks about coming to terms with that diagnosis at such a young age; about how to find peace after trauma and how it’s through refusing to be ashamed, that he helps other people.
