Lockdown and gig cancellations presented challenges to all in the music industry. Many worked on new music, took up a day-job and some sat back on their millions and waited for covid to be over.
Mark Gable and Choirboys started doing weekly live streams, to thousands of fans also locked down in their homes.
After forming in 1978, and playing hundreds of gigs in (pretty much) every pub in Australia, this was a game changer for the band. They released a 9 track album from those covid performances, with a brand new song (first in 15 years). You'll hear the story on the origins of that song too.
Mark is always a great chat, he'll explain where 'they went wrong' at Alberts Music in the early years of the band. Some great stories of pub riders from around the country, and what happened when he first met Angry Anderson!!
