Swire was born and raised in Hong Kong but immigrated to Los Angeles in 1996. Swire is a trained sound engineer and has worked at numerous recording studios and entertainment agencies before starting his own company called Hellman Production Inc. Here, he and his team produced personalized DVD and CD cases and custom merchandise, and this business grew to such an extent, that Swire sold it in 2013 to focus on the promotional product industry.
