Manage episode 304634175 series 2994671
This dude has been busy since he was in middle school! I met Seth when he was but a wee lad, a budding musician, an artist with no idea he'd be opening an 8,000 sq ft conglomeration of eateries and drinkeries in an historic area of a local neighborhood someday... We'll get into all of this, and so much more in the show. You might know Seth from his longtime band Watashi Wa. He played in MXPX for a while, then went back to playing his own music in Eager Seas, then Spin Magazine's band of the day once, as Lakes. Then he got into the hospitality game with Sidecar in downtown San Luis Obispo! Now, he embarks on another ambitious opening-- revamping the classic Templeton Mercantile into something magical and unique. Plus!! The full circle of returning to making music as Watashi Wa, and releasing a new album this summer...
Music in this episode:
Intro: "My Misery" by LAKES from their album Fire Ahead
End: Watashi Wa "10 Years and Separating States" from their album EAGER SEAS
