Today we are doing a beautiful balancing breath technique called Nadi Sodhana Pranayama. Here we use alternate nostril breathing to balance our energy in the channels or Nadi of our energetic body.
Pranayama is often seen as an advanced yogic technique, but done with care and attention I feel the benefits are so wonderful that a small amount, as given here, can be hugely beneficial. It is another tool for our "tool kit for life" that I feel is so useful in times of stress as it is so soothing for the nervous system. It is also revitalising for the mind, so a win-win!
