Hosts Ken Mulholland and Matt Batten sat down and spoke with Legendary actor Gerard Maguire who played Wentworth Detention Centres first male officer and Deputy Governor Jim Fletcher. We spoke about Gerard’s early career, graduating from NIDA, how he got the part of Jim Fletcher, why he would have liked to have seen Jim become Governor of Wentworth, why he left Prisoner, the dangerous stunts he performed on Prisoner, and what it was like working with legendary actress’s like Patsy King, Val Lehman, Collette Mann. We broke down Gerard’s first episode on Prisoner in Season 1 Episode 40 and the famous Sandy Edwards riots which Gerard played a huge part in. We also spoke to Gerard about life after Prisoner and if he was ever asked to come back to Prisoner, a very funny story about being recognised at a nudist beach as Mr Jim Fletcher and Gerard’s life living in America.
