Talent Acquisition is a critical part of a company’s ability to function effectively. The idea of screening or interviewing for job and company fit is not new - we can all agree this is an important factor in the whole process. But where does it belong in the process itself? In this episode, your ideas about where this factor should fit into the process may be challenged - in a good way.

My guest is Jan van der Hoop, President of Fit First Technologies. Jan is passionate about helping businesses find the right people in the most efficient way. Fit First offers a suite of technology services ranging from applicant screening to reference checking to career matching.

Jan began his corporate career in Operations and ‘accidentally’ found himself in a string of senior HR roles at Hilton International Hotels, PepsiCo and Office Depot. He left Corporate after 15 years to build a leadership development and coaching organization that worked with companies to build their organizational capacity, grow their people and improve their financial results.
