The Spring Semester continues and the Short Bus Debate Club rolls on to class. This episode we discuss the essence of a band and renaming the band, or not. Certain people are key players and whether they were on vocals or founders of the band, so when they leave, it is no longer the same band. The Beatles can never again be the Beatles. You can't rebuild Nirvana or Audioslave or The Beastie Boys. The Grateful Dead is gone. With all of that being said, there are still bands that didn't rename like Alice in Chains, INXS, Journey, and so many others.
