The Wendigo is a demon, but these demons create new Wendigos from humans who are consumed with financial greed or hunger for human flesh. After conversion, these new Wendigos grow proportionately in size to the victims they devour. It is said, the mere sight of a Wendingo is enough to make the human heart freeze in terror.
