What is the significance of the serpent's role and the parallel between the serpent and Adam and Eve. They also touch on the problem of evil and the implications of wisdom in the biblical narrative.

They explore the idea of salvation as embodied participation in new creation, emphasizing the importance of being fully human and imaging God in the world. They highlight the need for an understanding of salvation that goes beyond personal forgiveness of sins and focuses on the restoration of God's reign on earth.
