In this episode of Illuminating the Shadow, we will be exploring our own lens of perception and how it contributes to our understanding of the world around us. As we shine a gentle light of awareness upon some our beliefs, tendencies and patterns and how they reflect back to us in the boundaries we maintain with each other. We will be diving in deep to further explore and examine how some of our habits and patterns and beliefs are reflective in our exchanges with others. We will be discussing some practical ways to bring more clarity and more understanding into our interactions with others, into our dialogues, our miscommunications AND into our disputes with others, as we work to facilitate a shared space of mutual understanding. Working to foster and encourage clear and direct communication in our daily social interactions and in the relationships that we value, so that we can engage with others in a way that supports them while simultaneously offering us that same support, that mutual understanding.

Upon this common ground, is where we can meet each other with understanding and grace, despite our differences. We have such a beautiful capacity to support each other, while simultaneously advocating for ourselves and our own needs.
