Lina Bengstdotter was altijd al een verhalenverteller. Op school en op feestjes maakte ze andere kinderen aan het huilen als ze haar nieuw verzonnen avonturen deelde. Ze schaamde zich voor haar fascinatie met verhalen en las daarom haar boeken vaak op de wc.

Inmiddels is Lina van deze angst af en is ze druk bezig met haar carrière als auteur. En dan vooral met haar nieuwste boek De man die een vreemde was.
