À la racine de l’arbre généalogique des 29 familles victimes de la tyrosinémie, deux noms reviennent sans cesse : Louis Gagné et Marie Michel. Ces pionniers auraient donc propagé la maladie dans la province. Malgré tout, comme l’indique l’historien et démographe Hubert Charbonneau, le couple jouissait d’une santé très robuste, tout comme la majorité des colons en Nouvelle-France. En 1729, soit 85 ans après leur arrivée, les deux pionniers comptaient 550 descendants. Avec Marcel Sabourin (animation), Bertrand Desjardins, Hubert Charbonneau, Alain Gagnon (invités), Maider Martineau (accordéon chromatique et alboka) et Michel Bordeleau (vielle-à-roue et chant)
