Tyler, Rick and Liam are here for a new edition of Oilersnation Radio as they look back at the week that was around the Edmonton Oilers. To kick things off, they looked at the two games that the team has played since the last podcast. They lost to the Vegas Golden Knights but bounced back in a big way to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets. They gave their thoughts on the victory and how the team has looked over the past week.

From there, they talked about Jeff Skinners spot in the lineup and whether or not he’s earned another crack up in the Oilers top six. They also hit on the minor league deal that the team made earlier today.

In Ask The Idiots, they discussed the Jacob Trouba trade that dropped earlier today and Rick gave his take on the list of Oilers that were left off Team Canada’s roster at the 4 Nations Faceoff. He actually thinks the downtime will be good for the Oilers.

To wrap up the show, they looked ahead to the game against St. Louis, talked about whether or not Broberg and Holloway will get booed in their return to Rogers Place, and the Oilers chances of catching Vegas for the top spot in the division.
