By Newsbreak Producer Hoosen Ebrahim - The hackers who infiltrated the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development's IT systems have demanded a ransom of 50 Bitcoin - which equates to over 33-million-rand. The hack took place earlier this month, with criminals encrypting backup servers in a well orchestrated cyber-breach. The government department has since issued a statement saying that IT experts are working to investigate and resolve the problem. Deputy Director at the Centre for Cyber Security at the University of Johannesburg - Dr. Jaco du Toit - elaborates on the risk this poses to ordinary South Africans...
