Toni and Wendy are back with more Dukes with “How the Dukes Stole Christmas!” Our first duke was trying to get back to his country estate as fast as possible after taking care of some business like selling “unnecessary” real estate. The heroine made sure he got a taste of town before being offered some burnt shortbread in “Meet Me in Mayfair” by Tessa Dare. Our next duke spends his Christmases getting foxed for the past 12 years. This year, his snowflake storms back secretly in “The Duke of Christmas Present” by Sarah MacLean. We then get a hermit duke who went to bring servants of another estate to his Highland fortress because brigands were roaming the area. He got a surprise guest who didn’t want to have any magic biscuits in “Heiress Alone” by Sophie Jordan. Finally, we have publishing empire owner, Duke, with a family shortbread recipe to impress investors. Unfortunately, the employee who should know how to bake and who he tasked with the baking deceived him for good reason in “Christmas in Central Park” by Joanna Shupe. They say food is the way to a person’s heart. Hopefully, those people don’t mind trying magical, questionable, or misshaped shortbread. Join the ladies as they discuss how to steal Christmas with shortbread!
