My name is May Saengpraseuth Alirad. I wrote a book entitled “Was I Assaulted? My Guide to Healing as a Survivor” to empower fellow survivors of sexual assault to find their voice and take control back of their life. The book will consist of my own personal experiences, lessons I learned as a survivor and a therapist, and reflections for the reader. The book will launch on Tuesday, April 27th.
