Forgiveness is probably the hardest thing we are forced to do to improve our own self-worth. Entitlement is the greatest enemy to being able to forgive. I hope you will listen to this Podcast and the next one with an open heart and a willing spirit to do the hard work of forgiveness in your own life.
The verses I refer to in this lesson are Luke 11:2-4 and Matthew 6:9-15.
I also want to encourage you to take time to read some of the stories in The Forgiveness Project at https://www.theforgivenessproject.com. Although I think the not-for-profit has closed, the website with many stories of forgiveness is still active and can be a helpful resource as you start your own journey in forgiveness.
