In this special Blast episode, we talk about a viral Tiktok from @musclesandnursing talking about giving testimony before the board of nursing and that being used against a nurse criminally as was the case with RaDonda Vaught. So, we reached out to him, and he was gracious enough to come on the show and talk all about it and what is happening with boards of nursing across the United States. We also discuss the precedence that was set forth in the Vaught case. In preparing for this episode, we did reach out to the NCSBN in regards to questions about if testifying before the board would be a violation of the 5th Amendment to self-incriminate. The recommendation we received was to speak to an attorney…. So we did just that.
