Cancer is a hurry up and wait game - you feel like you want to do something and there is not much to do. She also talks adult support systems outside of the home - such as Laurie Elsass and her talking the night before my surgery and how much it helped. Spend time in the presence of those you feel safe talking to or being with. People will show up for you in different ways. And don't be afraid to reach out.
