When Andy Schoonover found out that a basic procedure for his daughter could've cost him many thousands less than what he ultimately paid, he knew there was a better way to pay for healthcare and he setup a business to do just that. Crowdhealth was born from this frustration and the desire to help others lower their healthcare costs and streamline the process. This is a community-based system where members pay a monthly fee and then voluntarily contribute more to help others knowing that when their day of need arrives, the community will help them too.
