A little before 1 AM on the morning of July 27, 1996, Eric Rudolph dropped his green backpack underneath a bench in Atlanta, Georgia's crowded Olympic Centennial Park, set the bomb's timer for 55 minutes, and walked away. Before morning, two people would be dead and 111 would be injured — and within a week, the security guard who first spotted the bag and saved countless lives would be accused of planting the bomb himself.

In this episode, we cover the Olympic park bombing of 1996, as well as the bombings Eric Rudolph perpetrated until he went into hiding for five years in the North Carolina mountains.
