George Rankin is no fool. He is educated, intuitive and daringly bold. But it is his desperate desire to dispel the fanciful and discredit the superstitious that leads him aboard a train ride from London to Norfolk. Little does he know of the evil that lurks aboard that train, a sinister presence which stalks the carriages and hungers for revenge. In time, he will discover that the very thing he has set out to disprove will be his ultimate undoing.
