Be sure and join us on our Youtube Channel with our special guest, 40 year FDNY veteran Deputy Chief Jim Didomenico - Joined Vol Mineola FD 1978 - FDNY Probie school May 1983 - Assigned to Engine 260 1983 - Transferred to Engine 53 in 1987 - Promoted to Lt Jan 1990 assigned to 11th Div - Transferred to Div 15 Jan 1991 - UFO Engine 227 1991 - Promoted to Captain September 1993 assigned to 14th Div - Assigned to Engine 263 in 1994 - Promoted to BC in Sept 1996 and assigned to Div 1 then to Div 6 and assigned to Battalion 16 in 1997 - Promoted to Deputy Chief in 1999 and after short time in Div 15 was assigned to Div 13 in 2000. - Retired 2022.
He has been involved in many notable fires and also had alot of input into many promotion exams and the rewriting of our Regs/ and procedures over the years.
We have known Chief Didomenico for many years and we will get the whole skinny.
