The disciples noticed that the source of Jesus’ miracles, character, & wisdom was His prayer life. So, they naturally asked him to teach them to pray. Jesus responds by teaching them the Lord’s Prayer. Pastor Ryan explained that Jesus’ intention was not to have them memorize this prayer and repeat it everyday.
