Stress is an unavoidable and even necessary part of life. But it's also an uncomfortable emotion that most of us don't enjoy feeling. So it's common to turn to food as a way to comfort, numb, or buffer our way through stress. Occasional stress eating is normal and nothing to be too worried about. But turning to food too often as a way to deal with stress can lead to eventual health problems. In this episode, I'll share with you the 5-step RULER technique I teach and use myself to navigate stress and avoid turning to food for comfort.
