#44: Is your fashion career REALLY successful?

This week, I want to talk about two topics that are different but actually quite interrelated -- ‘success / friends’ and ‘intern brain.’
"Success is the one term I didn’t make up, but it’s almost less clear than my wannabe psychologist lingo.
As I’ve built up this fashion podcast, and a fashion career alongside it, I’ve been proud and open about the things I have accomplished. When people ask ‘how’s the podcast going’ or ‘how’s your job’ I don’t lie.
Right now, I think I am exactly where I’m supposed to be. My stats are growing, I’m attracting incredible guests, and I’m creating really insightful content that people tell me is very helpful to them. In my day-job, I’m working for a really great company that invests a lot in training me and that listens to my ideas
HOWEVER….
When you say something like ‘I’m happy at work’ or ‘I’m having so much fun doing the podcast’, it’s almost not quote on quote ‘enough’ for people [...]."
